hey all...

i've been a long time lurker, but this is my first post...

i'm a bsn student graduating in may this year and i'm looking for my first RN job...

i was recently invited to a GN information session at crozer and i was wondering if anyone on this wonderful site would be able to tell me about this hospital (GN orientation, wages...etc.) because i'm not from the area, i would be relocating...

truth is i've actually all ready accepted a job at another hospital, but i'm not one hundred percent sure, and i'd really like to move down to the burbs....

any information would be wonderful! thanks!

From the information I have gotten from other posters on this website, their wage is pretty competitive. If I'm not mistaken their starting wage for GN is ~$28. Not bad if you ask me. But as far as the work environment I wouldn't be able to help you there since I'm still a student nurse.

BTW, if you don't mind, can you share the hospital that you have accepted??

Their wage and working environment. Thanks

Crozer is unionized.

It is well known for its burn unit. It has a busy L&D department and NICU, as well as a decent peds service.

There are a number of nice suburbs nearby.
