Hello all. I was wondering if anyone could spread some light on the roles and duties of CRNAs within a pain management role.
Just what is it you pain mgmt guys do anyway?
Im a 11yr RN hoping to get into CRNA school in August 2008.

Push propofol so doctors can do the procedures.

CRNAs role varies widely, depending on specific institution. While a few CRNAs such as Jack Neary specialize in PM in its broader scope, most who do PM provide little more than epidural steroids.

[color=#990033]you can also google jackie rowles, crna, mba, faapm. she is an interventional pain specialist in indiana.she even has a pain management cadaver course offered to crnas.
