Hi, my name is stalin, I am very very very interested in becoming a CRNA. For all those who are CRNAs now or in CRNA school can you please help me answer few questions I have...I have a 3.3 GPA strong science GPA, I took organic chem over this summer, plan on taking biochem this december and taking my GRE soon along with CCRN. I want to have everything ready by next year.
1.How many schools should I apply to ?
2.What are my chances of getting in to a school ?
3. Is there anything else I can do enhance my chances ?
Thank you for your replies!

hello stalin, there are a lot of things that is taken into consideration by schools when accepting. I have been thru this process recently and i have learned a lot of dos and donts. it would be easier answer your questions if you gave more specifics. what exactly is your science gpa? what nursing program did you attend? what undergrad program? how much experiance do you have? i worked as a CNA a while back and that seemed to help me. How much experiance do you have in the ICU? these are just some of the things. I will be glad to answer any questions you may have.

I appriciate you answering to my add...my science GPA is about 3.5 graduated with BSN I will have 2yrs of experience by this Feb. I worked as a CNA for about 8 months while in Nursing school. Also do you think being a bit younger(early twenties) have any type of disadvantage ?
