Good luck to you. I've applied to KU, also. This is my first year applying.. very curious about the process and preference of those interviewing us. I'm getting pretty antsy and always curious about the applicant stats (even though the interview and many other things will contribute to your acceptance). Getting anxious I won't even get an interview due to experience. We will see. I plan on applying more broadly next year.
Overall gpa/nursing gpa: 3.7
Science: 3.5
1.5 years SICU @ level 1 trauma
1.5 CTS stepdown
ACLS, BLS, TNCC, taking CCRN 8/2017
Good luck!!! We will see how it all works out. I called KU the other day and they said we should hear about interviews during the last two weeks of September. Such a long time! My stats: 3.5 GPA, 3.7 Science GPA, 1.5 years CICU at level 1 trauma, 1 year M/S ICU at Level 2, 1 year ED and 2 years tele; CCRN, CMC, TNCC, PALS, BLS, ACLS.

Hey everybody,
I just wanted to start a forum for people applying to CRNA school for 2018, since I am applying to so many schools. Just want to use this to get updates from everyone on interviews and such, since I know many of us are pretty impatient when it comes to this waiting thing. Where is everyone applying? Do you know their stats (applicants vs interviewed vs accepted)?
I am applying to Iowa, Baylor, UTexas, TCU, KU, Webster, MSU, Bryan, Rush, UNCG (Raleigh), and Union.
Applying to so many schools is way too expensive but I only applied to 2 last year, had two interviews and was not accepted :-(.
I have an interview for Iowa on July 28. They had 47 applicants this year, they will interview 21 and accept 12. So nervous! If anyone personally knows about this interview, any info would be helpful!
