Hi there!
We have helped many international nurses in the pursuit of CRNA! ?
Essentially you will follow all the same requirements as everyone else so the academy will be highly beneficial when you're ready. The main thing you will need to do differently is get your ADN/BSN evaluated for equivalency. WES can do this. (WES.org)
You can also book a transcript audit with Dr. Ballister. She was a assistant program director for MUSC (South Carolina) for over 10 years and sat in the interview committee. She is very knowledgeable on this area. You can book this service via her service page on TeachRN.

I would do this step first so you know if you have additional courses ahead of you?
You will need to gain ICU experience here in the states for the 1-2 year minimum depending on your program. Lastly, I'd download a copy of our Free 8 Steps to CRNA Planning Guide; it will help you understand all the requirements and begin the planning process. Here's the link: https://www.cspaedu.com/howtocrna Shadowing and GRE will be great; I'd do the above steps before taking any courses as you may not need them. Hope this helps-- cheering you on!!
Thank you so much! Those GPA were already evaluated by WES. I read that our our GPA usually is lower once evaluated. I am also planning to be a member soon to make sure I'm heading the right direction. Thank you so much for all you do! ☺️

That's awesome!! You're making all the right moves. Remember, GPA isn't everything and *many* programs are starting to look more holistically at applicants, so finding ways to stand out in other areas is a smart idea. Rooting for you-- you got this! PS- See you in the Academy soon!
