Help with becoming a Ped. Cardio Nurse

I am about to become a senior in high school and i am very interested in becoming a pediatric cardio nurse in a PICU. I'm am just not sure how to go about the whole college thing (what classes to take, whether to go to a college vs. nursing school, community college vs. university) also i'd like to know what classes i should take to become this. As a senior i'm also going to be taking college classes half the day at a local community college for transfer credits. and i was wondering what classes would help me. What degrees do i need to become this and what are the prerequisites for it. to be honest i know nothing about the college scene or how to go about it, i am the first one in my family to attend college so my family is not sure how to help me go about all this. any help would be greatly appreciated.
