Criminal Convictions That Aren't Grounds for CNA Denial?

U.S.A. Washington

When I contacted a lady at one of the programs I am interested in, she tried to tell me a website where I could look up what types of convictions and such wouldn't cause me problems. When I was 17 (11 years ago) I had a car accident where I ended up fleeing the scene due to threat of bodily harm from the other driver. This, of course, resulted in my being held in a holding cell for a few hours.

I don't THINK it would be a big deal, but I also don't have a way to go back to Virginia to get those records to include with my application into a program or for certification. I'm just wanting to know how long ago a conviction has to have happened before it either won't show on a background check or that I don't have to report it, otherwise I'll just have to see if I can get my father a power of attorney and see if he'll do it sooner than the 6 months it usually takes him to do anything.

Anyway, if anyone knows of websites that list the specific of when/why/how long convictions will show or that I need to report them, I would greatly appreciate it.

As for why I couldn't hear the woman I was talking to, I had a fussing 4 year old in my lap that kept going on about nonsense.
