It depends on what classes you want credit for and the college you're going to. I didn't get credit for my Anatomy/Physiology because the college I went to had Anatomy and Physiology separate instead of the A&P 1 and 2 we took in the military. The credit units were also different. Military training is on my transcript but I had to take the same number of classes as everyone else. The only time my military training counted for anything was when I got LVN jobs. They were really impressed with my training/experience. Even if you don't get college credit, your experience will look good on your resume.

Check out the military forum! You do know that you can challenge the LVN board in California as an Army medic and then go through an LVN to RN program. That should knock out at least a couple of semesters of most RN programs.
You can definitely go through an LVN to RN program, that's what I did. I had to take a 5-6 week transition course during the summer and then went straight into 3rd semester of the RN program.
