If you were accepted into an RN program, then you have to have good grades and good study skills or they wouldn't have let you in. So be happy for yourself, you have worked hard to get there.
Keep your head up and be excited about the new challenge in front of you.
What you have is what we are all waiting for. I hope to be in your shoes in a couple months. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
I can relate to your post so much at the moment. I've just started orientation for my nursing course with my first lecture to start on Monday. I can't decide if I just want to start, run away or leave now...
I also got accepted into my first choice program and was so excited about it, but as the day gets closer I find myself thinking "what am I doing?"
At this point I just keep on telling myself that it will be fine once I start and that it's a big change for me, so it's normal to be concerned about it.
I too just got accepted to the nursing school of my choice! I start in March and i am really excited but also scared to death :uhoh21:. I will be leaving a job that i have been at for nearly five years because it no longer accomodates my school schedule. So now i am looking for another job....because i cant afford to not work. I am wondering how i am going to pay all of my bills and at the same time have enough time to study and pass nursing classes.....Let alone have any free time for anything that even remotely resembles fun. I am just trying to stay positive and hopeful that i will be able to handle it all.
Good luck! Im sure we will all do fine.:)

When I first found out I was accepted into the RN Program of top choice, I couldn't have been happier, excited, and fired up. However, as my start date is creeping up, I'm becoming more and more intimidated and nervous. My first day is only a week away, and I'm unsure and unconfident in my effort toward success in my first semester...any words of wisdom???
