Cottage Hospital Santa Barbara New Grad Program August 2017

I thought it would be good to start a new topic since there is not much details about the program/ interview process on allnurses.

Did anyone get called for an interview for the new grad program at Cottage? They are probably doing interviews soon since the program starts August 14 :)

Hello! Apparently, they are strictly hire new grads from CSU Channel Island (I am not). I know someone who works at Cottage and loves it. I will try to apply to this hospital when I have a few years of experience. Good luck to you :)

Do you know if there is a reason they strictly hire new grads from the channel island program!?

I know that they generally hire only new grads from SBCC or CSUCI because those are schools that do clinicals there. I think once every so often they'll hire a new grad from somewhere else, but from what my instructor told me it's pretty rare. They do hire nurses with other past hospital experience though!
