Hi, considering a move from California to the Portland or Vancouver, WA area.

Wondering what the wages are for RNs and if life is affordable, ability to purchase houses, etc.? I'm an experienced RN, 10+ years of experience with a Masters degree.

Thank you!

Base for a new grad is about $39/hr in the hospital systems. With $5-6/hr night differential. I think it’s really good!

for an experienced nurse, I would search Oregon nurses association bargaining agreement with OHSU or Providence and you can read the contract for pay, differentials, and degree bonuses
