Just stumbled on these cool videos of ER procedures. I think the guy is either a emergency physician or nurse.
Thought I'd be cool to share.

Check out the documentary "The Waiting Room". It is a great one to watch with friends, family, and folks you want to help gain a better understanding of the ER.

Not for the experienced busy ER RN. This is a Sundance documentary about Highland in Oakland, CA. But, don't expect the knife and gun club stuff. It will be like watching grass grow and nothing out of the ordinary day at the clinic. It is more frustrating than anything else and does point out how few choices there are for diagnostic testing for the poor except for the ER and then finding a referral clinic for follow-up is a bummer.
However, the triage nurse is great. I just wonder who wrote her script or did the editing for what she probably did say. It may have taken many, many hours of filming to get something presentable. The more "interesting" (term used loosely) ER patients probably did not sign consent for filming or would not have made the audience rating even for an unrated Sundance film.

I've watched a lot of these videos! The guy is a ER physician and he actually responds to pretty much every logical comment on his vid's, so if you have questions, ask! Pretty cool.
