contacting groups

I went to gaswork.com - found some very interesting positions close to me....

do you think it is out of line to email the groups and ask if they offer contracts to students w/ tuition reimbursement.......

I would definitely contact them and ask about support. I found my sponsor by taking a travel assignment, (PACU), to a place that had a vacancy. Doing this let me get a feel for the place and decide if I would want to work there. I know with school that time is precious, but it might be worthwhile to shadow some CRNAs at these locations.

thanks Dave!! I actually currently work at the hospital where the one group has a shortage and have worked w/ the head anesth. many times.... his wife is the CRNA.....I have also worked at one of the other hospitals and am very familiar w/ the surgeons (but not the anesth. group)....

i very much appreciate the advice - I did email them and inquire if they offered contracts to students w/ or w/o tuition compensation..... haven't heard back yet.
