I understand very well that my question has been talked about somewhat in various threads on this site, but I wondered if I could maybe get a more definitive answer. I very much wish to work in the ED, it's just where I belong and I believe I'd be a fine ER nurse. However, I'm a stale new grad and I think it's time to change up my attempts at obtaining a job. Obviously I shall continue to follow the rules and apply online as necessary, but in order to really get myself seen, who should I be contacting, the recruiter or the manager? This assumes I am able to obtain either of those names. Of course this varies by facility, but if there are any of you out there who've done either of these jobs, I'd sure appreciate knowing what you think. Oh, and by "contact" I don't mean telephone call, I just think that's too intrusive and doesn't give the person a chance to ponder anything!
