Considering a move CA- Bradenton

I’m considering moving from California to the Bradenton/Sarasota area. I’m a single mom, renting, wondering how affordable/doable this area of Florida is on a BSN RN salary with 5 years experience?

I’m a postpartum/mother-baby nurse, I’ve been on days for a while and can’t imagine going back to nights. Is it typical to have to do nights and wait for a day shift position to open up?
