I was pleasantly surprised to see St Joe's take a stand against Olmsted. St Joe's made the difficult but correct choice between saving the mother's life or losing both the mother and 11 week old fetus. And now Catholic groups are coming out to support St Joe's. Kudos!
Coincidentally, in the last year, the Bishop has been talking about getting into other healthcare areas locally. I bet this recent event makes many think twice about signing onto any Catholic supported healthcare program.
