Hello I was looking for advice from already admitted nursing students or those in the process of doing so. I know the nursing application has gotten harder over the years but I was just wondering if anyone has advice on schools that might not be too difficult to get into. I realized my passion was in nursing as I was a bio major before and that didnt interest me. I have a 2.95 gpa and a college graduate. In my undergrad i took all the prereqs already but i had to repeat A and P 1 and 2 to get better grades and my overall classes were not excellent. I applied to drexels ACE program and didnt get in so that kind of burst my bubble a little so I was wondering if anybody knew of any schools to consider moving isnt an option but a January or May 2010 start date would be ideal. Thanks

If moving isn't an option we need to know what area you are looking at for schools.
well I was interested in VA(virgina Common wealth university), NJ(UMDMJ) NY and some other schools in PA(Desales university) but that seems hopeless because some schools like villanova, jefferson, etc are now adding more requirements like organic chemistry etc that just financially isnt reasonable for me. So pretty much any state would be fine with me if you have any suggestions
Well, I live in Tennessee and I attend Roane State Community College in Knoxville. I got in to their A.A.S. Nursing program with a 2.75GPA. If you want to know particulars on the prereq's they require (you probably have them all) and cost, deadlines, etc they have an online site http://www.roanestate.com when the page comes up click on the current student tab and you will see a list of choices. Click on college catalog and browse away! I am an older student and I like Roanestate very much, btw.
