I was tested 4 years ago and ppd test result is negative. Chest X-ray as well is negative too. When I have my ppd test recently, I feel an induration and measure it, it's 8mm after 3 days.
I am so worried about the induration size since I am in Nursing school and could possibly affect my study and future employment.
I read many articles about ppd interpretation however it confuses me since many information varries. Some wrote, a little bump is ok, some wrote if less than 5mm is negative and more than 5mm is positive. Some wrote that it will depend on the medical history of a person, others wrote over 10mm will interpret positive.
Recently tested for HIV. (Result: Non-Reactive)
Got tested for Chest X-ray. (Result: Negative)
I dont go through organ transplant.
I dont use drugs neither smoke.
I am not diabetic and not working in the hospital or nursing home.
I am not coughing or loosing weight or excessive sweating at night.
