Confidence and competence

Good afternoon,

I've always been the type of person who pushed through trials and tribulations no matter how I felt. However, this year has changed my limitations. I'm a New Grad in a SICU who loves challenges but feel as if I'm not capable enough to succeed. My confidence has always been for lack of a better work— "***" on a stick. I make a mistake and immediately label myself as terrible. I've only been at this job for 8 months. I want nothing more than to stay and grow into a wonderful critical care nurse. Given my current circumstances, I don't know if that will be possible.
