Concordia University Irvine (CUI) ABSN hybrid - Spring 2024

Hi everyone! I wanted to start this thread for anyone who applied to the new hybrid ABSN program offered by Concordia University Irvine. Wondering if anyone had applied yet, received interview email, or has been accepted? I heard it is all rolling admissions so they are viewing apps as they come in!

Hi there there! I just sent an application and today, I received a call from Admissions counselor asked me few questions about myself and why I want to be a nurse. She also said to send her. My unofficial transcripts by Monday.

Hi, yes I went through the program at irvine. I graduated in may. It's intense but doable and they prepare you well for the NCLEX. But prepare to have no life for the first 3 semesters. Worth it but its intense

Congratulations!! 🎓 Thank you so much.  I appreciate your response! 😊 I'm starting this fall and I've seen so many mixed reviews that I started to doubt my selection. But I'm relieved to hear that it's doable with effort and commitment. By chance do you still have your textbooks? I was wondering if you're open to selling,  or lending them.  I'm trying to save where I can, just thought I'd ask.

Thank you!! Yes don't worry, you will do great! Make sure to take breaks and take care of yourself. I only have the ATI books that are mandatory to be purchased.. every other book tbh I never really bought. Somehow classmates would always send PDF form and I'd download to my computer.
