Concorde career college grad issue with transfer to NY license

Hello all,

 

so my mother who is also a nurse has moved from Florida to NY as we await the birth of my first child. She graduated from Concorde career college in Florida back in 2013. She worked as an RN down in Florida up until September where she applied with the NYBON and moved up in November. We sent an email for an update after 3 months of waiting and did not receive anything . She called in and was told that her school was not on the approved list and the process of approval can take 6-12 months. Has anyone dealt with this, I will be calling them back after the new year to see if there's anything we can do to speed this up. Has anyone gone through this successfully ?
