Complete tub bath

I ask because I am a caregiver. Not a CNA yet being asked to do this job. So please if anybody can help me with this I would sincerely appreciate it. I'm in fear of losing my job and feeling like this will redeem me.

I was out of work a few times due to child issues and having to take time off.

We have a special chair with a seatbelt that the resident sits in and it raises and lowers with the touch of a button so you can get them in and out of the tub safely.

You fill the tub with water, test the temperature, put them in the chair and lower them into the tub slowly. Then you wash and rinse them from head to toe, ending with the peri area.

Just ask someone how to use the tub and what they use to get the resident in and out.

Thank you Fuzzywuzzy! I was going to ask the client how she/he would like to have her/his bath done as well. Giving s/he as much independence as possible too. S/he is not a resident at an ALF. S/he lives on her own. I'm unsure if s/he has a shower seat. If so, I am most certain is not the kind that would lower her/him up or down in the tub.

I assumed clean the clean areas then then the personal areas last. I suppose I'm wondering how to do towel placement and such to help her/him keep as warm as possible.
