Hello Everyone,
I have a case study of a 20yr old male diagnosed with diabetic ketoacidosis.
One of the questions I have to answer is, "discuss the use of complimentary alternative medicine therapies with this case study."
My question is:
When we say alternative medicine therapy, does it involve herbal medicines, and relaxation techniques? What else comes under this category?
If herbal medicine is one of them, don't they cause drug interactions?
Can anyone please suggest some websites or sources that can help? I tried but there is no specific info on this.
Also, from what I understand, while writing this we have to consider his lifestyle, and the medications he is on?
I am sorry I have too many questions, but I am having trouble getting started on this. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks a lot!
