Hi, I'm currently a senior nursing student and will graduate the beginning on January 26. I started my package back in feb 25 with a med recruiter. After reading some posts it looks like they accept more experienced nurses rather than new grad nurses. I'm worried my package won't be competitive enough.
I have a 3.4 GPA, started and is president of a club, have done all of my clincial rotation at various TMC sites. Currently work at Baylor college of medicine as a lab technician, have two ongoing publications and did an internship with U.S. state dept in regards to national security, and have completed meps, nasis, etc.
We also have a capstone program at our school and I'm hoping that I get some form of critical care or ED when it starts. I know this is a lot, but I'm worried that the lack of actual licensed nursing experience will get me denied.
