Competitive GPA? GPA Calculated "?"

A)I am curious to know what a competitive GPA is. I know the higher the better, but what is the normal competitive range?

B)Also, for medical and dental school certain application systems are used. From what research I have done, it does not appear to be this way with CRNA school. Am I correct on this? It seems that every school uses their own application.

C) How is GPA calculated? Is it the GPA on your transcripts? In dental and MD school all grades are averaged, even repeated courses. I know my college lets you replace the lower grade if the course is retaken.

D) Are there any sites that show applicants vs acceptance rates?

I am currently finishing my my nursing degree. My nursing school GPA is a 3.5 and I plan to go to CRNA school after I get my experience requirements fulfilled. I think being a CRNA would be a good fit for me. I have been working as a Paramedic for six years full time doing 911 on the ambulance. I have gained much experience from this, but it is time to move on in my medical journey. I would prefer to work the ER, but most schools do not take ER experience. Thanks for any help. My nursing GPA is pretty good for working full time and having a part time job as well. My GPA from my first time in college is less than stellar. That is why I have the GPA questions. I know most schools require a 3.0 or better but I know that is just standards.

Thanks!
