Compensation in Alabama

As nurses, we are working harder, longer.... all while facing the ongoing pandemic.  With hospitals competing for nurses, I thought it would be empowering to "swap notes" and be better prepared to advocate for safety and compensation.  For example:

Are you being paid hazard pay?

Is your facility have incentives to help with retention (outside of hiring bonuses) to keep the employees they have?

Is bonus pay being offered for picking up extra shifts?

Is there a limit to how many patients you are assigned when floated?

Is there a lack of transparency regarding practices to improve retention?
