Come on over! Visas are current!

To all my UK allnurses friends......the July visa bulletin shows visas are now current! I know Ann (ann h) and Claire (english_nurse) have their cases complete and just waiting for packet 4, as is my niece in the UK. Not sure where Anna (silverdragon) is up to and Rebecca (RGN1) but I'm really excited for you all that it appears progress is being made. Looking forward to hearing how you all feel about it.

Claire already has her greencard just hope everything else gets sorted for her soon. I am not sure where I am ie whether visa fee has been paid and DS230 has been sent in but won't email lawyer until next month as it will not come into being until then. Know my file was sent to NVC Sept/beginning oct 06

Thanks letina & Co. I did see the bulletin - I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets it emailed straight to me! I emailed the lawyer but she's out the office until Monday!

However, I have to say that I think I won't be lucky this time as my filing date is too recent - like right now rather than months back! However, if it clears the backlog & gets some of you on your way that'll be great!

Hopefully the UK won't use up as many as the PIC countries & I'll get lucky! I can expedite the I-140 if it helps so I've asked the lawyers to consider doing that if they see fit.

Anyway - fingers crossed for those of you in a better position than me!!

Good news you all. And yes Im crossing everything legs and all. I hope the job offers will be made concrete for some of us and all the best to evryone.

Just one more questions, may anyone recommend a lawyer to use coz some of the hospitals said I would have to get my own and have no clue where to start.

Did they say what they'd based their news on? Did they get some indication from the Embassy?
