Do you guys mind sharing your GPAs or do you know the average GPA in the class? With the new point system I'm looking at 15 points. My GPA is horrible though bc they consider the cumulative instead of the pre-req so I'm sitting at a 2.8 overall and a 3.6 for the pre req GPA. Do you guys think I have a chance. I'm getting out of the military soon and I want to use my medical training to continue to nursing

ACT 21=5 pts

AP 1=3

AP 2=3

Micro=3

Psy=1

Hello, I am also applying for the nursing program at Columbia State. I have not taken my ACT yet but for the point system for pre-reqs I have Psy-2 Micro-3 AP1-2 AP2-2. My gpa 3.4. I honestly don't know where I stand because of course I haven't taken the ACT yet.

I'm a little late coming across this post. Did either of you apply for the Spring 2018 or are you planning for Fall of 2018? Curious to know if you were accepted with these points. I will be applying in the Spring for the Fall program.

My Ap2- is actually a 3 not a 2. Ap1-3 overall I have 11 points. But I haven't taken the ACT yet. I'm applying for the Fall 2018.

Have you all submitted your applications yet? I'm working on mine now. It is so stressful not knowing where the cutoff to acceptance will fall! Right now I'm sitting at 19 points and a 3.79 GPA. I took the residual ACT at CState and scored a 23 so I get 9 points for that. I just took the National ACT this past Saturday. If I scored any higher my points will increase but I'm not feeling too good about that happening. I got 4 points for an A in AP1, 3 points for an A in micro, and 3 points for an a in Gen Psych. I'm in the middle of AP2 this semester but that won't count on this application unfortunately. I'll be 40 this year so I am ready to get going with this. I really don't want to have to apply again in the fall.

Anyway, how are you all feeling about the process and your points? Good luck everyone!

I decided not to apply. Going to TCAT LPN program instead. Will bridge over later! Good luck everyone! If all else fails try NSCC nursing program.

Hey everyone. Were any of you accepted? I was accepted to the Columbia campus! Hope to see you in class!
