College of the Sequoias (COS) LVN-RN Fall 2024

Hi everyone 

I'm wondering if anyone has applied for the LVN-RN program for Fall 2024? The deadline is around the corner and I'm submitting my application tomorrow morning. I'm super nervous..... What are your stats? Good luck everyone!

I live in Hanford now and just got my acceptance letter. It didn't show up at all on informed delivery, not even as "unscannable.” I just saw one letter coming today but then I opened my mailbox to a surprise.

My informed delivery doesn't show any mail from COS, so I'm hoping I'm as lucky as you. LOL

Congratulations  I have informed delivery. Looks lile im getting a letter again. So I maybe got alternate again 😔 congrats everyone that gets in

Hi Rach, 

Last time you were accepted as alternate where did they put your alternate number?or how did you find out what alternate you were?

You get just a letter telling u your selected as alternate like A3 was mine. You still do zoom orientation just in case someone drops.

I received a letter but it doesn't say any letter or number but says I'm an alternate

69.56 points (No Exp, but have degree) 

B-A-A science (No retakes)

83.33% TEAS (first try, but only had 2 weeks to study due to moving).

Did you apply for the traditional or LVN?

I applied for traditional with 67.7 points. Saw informed delivery with a white envelope.

I applied for Traditional.

Mr. Dillard said to our Micro class that acceptance depended heavily on TEAS. If I didn't get in this time, I was going to retake and try for 90%+. 

The only thing I had working against me was lack of experience.

Oh wow. I did not know that. The only thing that I was working against was my TEAS. Scored a 75% on my second attempt 😕 

Congrats again though! And to all others that got in!
