Hello all... Just wondering about NCLEX-RN pass fail rates of any schools. I attended a school in Florida, and our class that graduated May of 2007 is doing poorly... Out of 50 students, around 13 have FAILED so far from what we can gather, and that is with about 30 students taking the exam, and NOT SURE if the other 20 ish have sat for the first time or not... The ones that are doing alright on the exams seem to be the LPN transition students...
YES, I am one of the 13, YES I am upset, and YES I take full responsibility for my exam taking skills. I would just like to know what other schools are going through, and any advice would be appreciated.
THANKS IN ADVANCE!

I completed an ADN program in the state of Michigan, and our school had a first time passing rate of 87%. It used to be over 90% a couple of years ago. Those not passing the first time around said they did not study for the NCLEX at all, felt overconfident after graduating and had no need to study, and some just weren't good test takers. I haven't known anyone from my school failing the NCLEX more than once.
Our school required a passing rate of 80% or more for each nursing course. Our exam questions were similar to NCLEX style questions, so I think many of us were more prepared than other schools in Michigan.
