College of Mount Saint Vincent (CMSV) ABSN Spring 2024

Hey! just got accepted into CMSV's ABSN program for Spring 2024. Just wanted to connect with anyone else that got accepted as well. 

 

Also, I wanted to see if there is anyone that is currently in or previously graduated from this program. Id like to ask for any advice or tips to be successful specifically in this program!

Hello. I am currently a student at CMSV. When I tell you to run in the opposite direction, please listen. I too was desperate to get into a program. And these people accepted me, they contacted me every week, made me feel good about paying them the extra 10k sticker price (in comparison to other programs this is on the expensive end, except for the Ivy leagues). When we got in it was a completely different story. Some people do not have professors, they do not let you register for your own classes, they force you into classes with some of the worst professors you will ever encounter in your academic career. The labs aren't even properly equipped. The entire place is a fraud. They hook you in, and then give it their best to get you out in the first semester. And hey, did you know their program is under investigation by the CCNE? Check out the CMSV accreditation and you will see it. They have it on there but they do not actively advertise it. Please save yourself and do not come to this school.

I am looking to attend the CMSV ABSN program. I'm not from NYC but from LI. Can anyone give me any insight? What if it is your only option for an ABSN program?
