COD to Lewis University

I am new to this forum and found a lot of useful info. Thank you.

I am a HS senior and admitted to Lewis into Nursing program with Fall 2018 start date. Has anyone here taken the route of getting all the gen eds and prerequisites out of the way at College of DuPage and then transferring to Lewis for the core Nursing program?

Is it cheaper to do it this way?

Will it take longer to go COD to Lewis route vs going into Lewis right away?

Also, if I come in as a transfer student from COD into Lewis, is the competition to get into the program tougher?
