CNN Nursing Shortage Special part 2: Complete and utter waste of valuable air time

Al D. CNA was the focus of todays "Special". Al is a CNA who was show-cased today taking temps and doing patient care. A big shot from Kaiser in Calif described how their welfare to work type career ladder was a solution to the nursing shortage. Next Al will be doing IV pushes and taking verbal orders. Does CNN know the difference between Registered Nurses and CNA's? Just what the nursing profession needs, further confusion between CNAs and RNs. I can hardly wait for part 3 which will focus on how to "protect yourself while in the hospital". Ironic isn't it?
