Nursing Students CNA/MA

Published

Does anyone know of any CNA training classes/schools/nursing homes/hospitals that offer to train you for free or even ones that make you pay? Ones that allow you to take the state board test to be certified, of course.

I'm located in Nashville ,TN. Anywhere in Nashville or close to Nashville like Hermitage or Murfreesboro

I know that in Saint Thomas hospital I have to wait until May and there is much to fill out application to be accepted also i went to Mckendree village and Bordeaux Home they do not offer any class of CNA

THANKS

Hi!

So we ae in the same boat. I am looking for a paid CNA course as well. I found that NHC has a free CNA course. There are several locations but the one in Cool Springs is accepting applications durign the week of Feb 14th. Its a two week course and will begin later this month. Look their website up and give them a call for mroe info. NHC has several locations so I would just look them up and find out more info.

Look up NATs Nashville... It's the course I'm in... After taking their class you can work at just about anywhere... You are qualified to work at hospitals to.. Vanderbilt will only hire students from this course unless you are already a RN student...

Linda Coleman is the main instructor and she is awesome... I've really enjoyed the program, and I have 3 more weeks left.. You learn so much more then what they teach at the LTC facilities...
