Am I like the only one who thinks it is confusing? So the actor lays in bed with no blanket, pillows, etc.. and you have to pretend instead of doing it. To me, this is confusing.. especially when you're nervous. You keep forgetting and you do it instead of pretending. I took the clinical skills today and since the shoes wasn't around and my actor already had shoes on.. I didn't say "OK, let me put your shoes on." I did said "OK, let me make sure your feet is touching the ground." I said it low.. so I am not sure if she heard me say "OK, putting shoes on" or something. I hope she somehow heard that. Also, the wheelchair for testing didn't even have footrest.. so and again, I forgot to say that I am going to rest her feet on footrest.
You think I can fail for this? It was confusing and the tester knows that I was confused. :)
However, I did super for indirect care, and infection control.
And I did communicate, but not much. Oh well,, I gotta wait for the results and I will give it another try (my last chance) I think I am going to wait a couple of months and then retake it. I got other things to do.. college is starting soon. :) I just wanted to get it over with. I don't want to work as a CNA yet anyways. I am staying at UPS 'cause they are paying for my courses. We get tuition assistance in my job. $15,000.. that's not bad. Like $1,500 each semester. I see people failing and they think they're so dumb. Well, they are wrong!! Once you're nervous, you'll forget some things and that's normal. :)
Oh, and I forgot to clean the basin where she spitted.. while doing oral care. ha ha.. I mean, she didn't spit for real.. just a pretend. That got me confused too. :)
I almost forgot to offer that.. lol.. I realized like 10 sec later.. ;\
I wonder if anyone have passed for making this mistakes.. :)
