I'm going to receive (hoepfully) my CNA certificate by the middle of next month and I heard that we have to renew our certificate every two years in California. I heard that there is a rule where you have to work at least 8 paid hours in order to renew it. Anyway, my question is, if I get a job that requires a CNA certificate, but the job title is different, does that count as working AS a CNA? For example, at a hospital I want to work at, the job title is an ER Assistant, but it requires having a CNA certificate. Thsnk for your help in advanced.
