Cna per diem contract company

Nurses Entrepreneurs

Hello all, I'm new to the forum but wanted to ask if anyone is doing independent work as a CNA or LPN, I'm a CNA right now and wanted to start the agency and even see if I could get CNA contract and once I'm done with my LPN certification I can pretty much just change my job and prices.

Also, I'm seeing a lot of Agencies in the Oregon area that pay upwards of 21.00 an hour for CNA's but they want 1 year of experience I'm assuming they request that because their insurance policy requires it. But is that a normal thing you guys have seen where a hospital, care home, etc. want's you to have a certain amount of years experience. I'm wondering because I'm trying to decide if I need to wait until I have a year or if I can start now I've been a CNA for 7 months and I started LPN school 2 months ago.

Also last but not least I saw the rates that you stated for traveling nurses would the doubling of the rate scenario also work for CNA's so if online I see they are paying CNA's 21.00 per diem an hour would it be safe to assume they are charging say the care home close to $40.00. Thanks again for all your help and this site is exactly what I have been looking for.
