I'm interested in either an lpn or cna class. All the community colleges in my area a full for the PN classes and I dont want to wait around and do nothing until new classes start, so I figured why not do CNA classes and work as a CNA until then?
I've been looking around for places that offer CNA classes but they're pretty expensive considereing they only last about 4 weeks. The Red Cross, for example, offers it for nearly $900. And I hear CNA's only get about $10 in MA to start anyway.
I'm told I shouldn't pay so much for the classes when I wont get a nice paycheck in return. Im wondering if anyone out there knows of any classes offered in MA for maybe a little less?
And on that note...does anyone know whether or not that really is the starting pay for a CNA in Mass? Just wondering... any advice would be great!
