Clinical Instructor Incommunicado (vent)

I know this will sound like I am whining, and I guess to some extent I am, but I am so frustrated right now. We have our first clinical experience outside of campus on Friday and my clinical group is the ONLY group that has not heard anything from their instructor. We have not met her, except for a quick introduction that lasted all of maybe a minute. Granted, our information should not differ much from that of the other groups, but just the lack of communication and visibility from the person who will be vital to our success in clinicals is disturbing me. I have email the faculty team leader, but I am afraid that even by doing so I have stuck my neck out too far, even though she told me yesterday that if I didn't hear today to contact her. Waiting patiently is NOT my strong point.
