CLEP testing

I've been accepted into an on-line BSN program, but found out my previous Eng Comp 1 & 2 credits will not be accepted. The advisor suggested CLEP testing. Has anyone ever taken this type of test & what's it like? Any ideas on what to study?? It's been almost 25 years :eek: since I took those courses...have no clue where to begin. I appreciate any & all input. :)

I did CLEP out of ENG 111 and it was fairly easy. Go to the website http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/clep/about.html and find out the where when and hows. I bought the study guide and found it useful.
