Classroom response systems: your input requested please
Hello,
Our school is considering several different brands of classroom response systems, and if you use them (or other brands) I would welcome your input, especially in terms of ease of integration and student use.
Ideally, we would like the students to be able to access the response system using either their laptop or a smartphone such as iphone, Droid, Blackberry, etc.
It would be wonderful to be able to poll students from any application (not tied to PowerPoint only) such as from a web page or a Word document, and to be able to use this with a Mac or a PC. Also, we would love to be able to use it without need of a computer or projector, and I have found a few systems that are capable of this.
I have investigated so far: Turning technologies, eInstruction, and Webclicker. Have you had any experiences, positive or negative, with any of these companies, or can you recommend another company? Any input would be most welcome.
