Hi!
Just wondering if anyone has info on the Clarksville area. My husband has a job interview there soon. I have been a nurse for 6 years in tele, ED, and now nursery. I am interested in getting any info on family-friendly areas to live and raise kids, where to work, and suggestions on things we should look for in the area. As far as my job I've always been about looking for a nice place to work that is challenging, not necessarily top dollar but somewhere I won't burn out. I am flexible on units as I have a varied background but will need them to be flexible in return with the hours because I'm going to need to work around my husband's work schedule. Any thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I have lived here for many years and never had a problem with work and flexibilty. Clarksville is nice as a community too...we have 3 small children and don't worry about the neighborhood we are in. We are getting ready to move to FL....love the beach....so if you need a home when you get here. LOL. Anyways, send me a private message and I will give you more details or help anyway I can. :)

i will be moving to the dover, clarksville area soon. can u tell me about gateway hospital patient ratios and base pay? is it a good enviroment to work in? I am a charge RN nights but I take a full load 8 pts. we have 24 beds in med surg we usually have 3 RNs and a CNA. getting really stressed at this point, along with everyone else. the facility has great potential and great Dr.'s, but the hospital seems more concerned about $$.
