Clarkson College FNP program - Spring 2026

I got accepted into clarkson college's online msn-fnp program but not finding enough information about the FNP program as an out of state student. I've heard poor communication which has been my experience as well. It's making me kind of nervous as when you struggle in school, communication is the utmost importance and it has been missing with every department in clarkson college. I decided to open this thread because I don't know if the school is intentionally blocking out threads reviewing them. They are one of the longest standing nursing schools, but still have the least amount of reviews. Anybody attend the online fnp program? Any feedback on what the program was like and whether it was worth attending? Graduation rates are showing 75% 🙃 - I'm an RN-BSN of 6 years. I know success and passing tests can vary on alot of factors including critical thinking skills and experience. Many students just rush to FNP without developing the proper nursing thinking skills and that may contribute to their difficulty in the program. Would love to hear any feedback nontheless!

For any future incoming students - the communication is terrible outside of admitting you in. No one responds or follows up. Seems like they have a 24/7 holiday at that college and everything is online based. They additionally require an Iowa child and adult abuse training program when getting cleared (additional $80). I questioned it because I don't live in Iowa neither am I doing clinicals there and suddenly they were working on removing the requirement. Feels quite sleezy.
