CHOP Nurse Residency 2025

Published

Hi everyone! I graduate in May & applied for CHOP's nurse residency program a couple days ago with an August start time. Anyone else apply and hear anything yet? Or have experience with this and know how long it usually takes to hear from them? Not sure if I should be patient or if I should be reaching out to follow up!

Hi! I just applied too so joining for any updates/info. How did you find out it would be an August start time?

I'm pretty sure the listing said it! I applied for the med-surg one at the main hospital, there was another listing that was for more ICU setting I believe and that was for the one in King of Prussia with a July start time. I could be wrong though! Let me know if you hear anything from them! I'm getting antsy waiting haha

Oh I must've missed it! I applied for KOP. I will post updates if I hear anything!!

Sounds great same here! Good luck!!

Has anyone heard anything back yet? My workday still says interviewing.

Nope, still nothing on my end either!

Anyone heard anything?

I know they've started reaching out to internal applicants, wondering if any outside applicants heard anything yet?

Nothing for me yet!

Hey! So I'm actually not applying for this cohort, but I just started an ABSN program and anticipate applying for probably a 2027 cohort (so a little ways away still). I was hoping anyone who was accepted could give me some details about their resume? I'm looking for activities to do while I'm in nursing school that might boost my chances of getting accepted into the residency. For reference, I already have a bachelor's degree in health sciences (conferred August 2025) and did a lot of hospital volunteer work while I was getting that first degree, as well as when I was in high school- I'm not too sure if that's recent enough to matter. Thanks!
