choosing a specialty

Hello! I am currently a NICU nurse interested in going back for a Master's but am unsure of what type of specialty I want to focus on. I am not interested in being a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner because I feel like I want to steer away from working in the hospital. I am between an FNP and a PNP. I love children and love working with families and parents but I also love being able to care for the family as a whole and think working in an UTC would be interesting. How did you choose and when? Do you think you picked the right specialty now that you are working or in school?
