Hello everyone. I have been in the process of applying to different nursing programs but I'm having trouble deciding between Montefiore School of Nursing (ADN) and Monroe's university ABSN program. I narrowed my options down to these two since they are the most affordable. Tuition is around the same for both (30k). I would ideally want to attend Monroe to get my BSN in a shorter amount of time compared to Montefiore which would take me 2 years to get my ADN and then I would have to do an extra year to obtain my BSN. However, Monroe's recent NCLEX pass rates have dropped and are not as good as Montefiore's ADN program. Montefiore has stronger hospital affiliations because of the Montefiore hospitals compared to Monroe. I do not have much information on which hospitals Monroe is affiliated with and the overall clinical experience in the program. If anyone has experience with these two programs I would appreciate some insight.
