Hello all! This is my first post here (or anywhere for that matter!) so I am not very familiar with this whole process. I am looking for some help, though, and I think I am in the right place. I have been approached by a preschool to act as their Health Consultant. This is a private, church-based program so it is not affiliated with the public school system. I have the materials to provide the training to their staff for med administration and there are guidelines from the state on how much can be charged for that training. My question is this- Has anyone acted as health consultant for a child care center and if so, would you mind sharing what you charged on a monthly basis for your services? I want to be fair to both the center and to myself. Any experiences would help... Thanks!

I have also been approached for a similar position and am interested in finding out more about doing this type of consulting. Does anyone have any good materials or resources about this type of consulting? I would appreciate any and all information!

When pricing yourself...always ask yourself:
what would I make working as a nurse elsewhere
what hours am I expected to put into this
what expenses am I likely to incur
add it all up, double check that it's comparable and you have your number...
Hope that's helpful,
