JumpNurse, I moved multiple times with children (not for anesthesia school though). There are usually child care referral resources that will give you info about the types of providers you're looking for--available at odd times, near where you'll be living or spouse's employer, etc. and contact info as well. Ask at the university or call a real estate agent, for starters.
Hey everyone,Been lurking these forums for a long time but finally have a question that I haven't found an answer to. My family and I will be making the move to the metroplex before long to start my career at TWU. Locating quality child care is proving quite the challenge. My wife is also a nurse so we need someone who can live with our chaotic hours. Any Suggestions?
Thanks!
Have u decided what area u will be living in? And what hospital will your wife be working at? Some of the hospitals actually have on-site childcare, such as Baylor All Saints (I think), Cook Childrens, etc. There are lots of other places too depending on the area of town you will be living in. I would call the realtor you are using to help you with getting childcare info.
