My son who is living in chicago has decided to quit being a flight attendant and get back into nursing. He had some questions that I was hoping some of you might be able to answer. 1) is there a need for cna's in that area, he has looked in the paper and never see's any ads to hire cna's. 2) are there any nursing homes in Chicago that offer the cna class, he let his cna laspe when he started working the airlines.

When I look for CNA jobs I usually try and go to the hospital or nursing home directly to see about job opportunities. I don't know where he is at in Chicago but Northwestern has tons of CNA jobs last I looked.

Hi! I am just finishing up the CNA program at Wright college in Chicago. It's supposed to be one of the best in the city (if not, THE best), and I will admit that it really is wonderful!! I would reccommend calling the school to see about the summer CNA program and I am sure that they would be friendly enough to answer any of your questions about the CNA job market as well. They are very helpful!! Good luck to your son! :) Louisepug
