Chicago Graduate Nurse Positions

[gradnursechicago, BSN, RN]

Hi! I am graduating in May with my BSN from a school in Missouri. I plan to take the NCLEX in Illinois by the third week of June and have been applying for positions in Chicago. I have 2.5 years of in-home care and hospice and 1 year of acute care as a Nurse Technician.

I was wondering if I have a good chance at getting hired in Chicago at Northwestern or Rush or Illinois Masonic Medical Center and when they actually start to look at applications. I'm a little nervous because I will be moving from St. Louis where I was offered multiple positions at the #1 hospital to Chicago where I probably won't be able to find a job so quickly.

Please help!
